I got this Bmw on Nov 13,2007. with 2848 miles already on it. And they are calculatiing it from 2848 miles when the start date was.. So now I have 9969 - 2848 = 7121. So that is the real miles on it. And I only got 12,000 because its very cheap to buy miles at the end up until 4 months of when the car is due.
